Power Management Services is an independent power engineering and project management consultancy, established in 2010 and trusted by some of the biggest names in the UK power industry. For over fifteen years we have supported the delivery of high voltage infrastructure at every level of the network, from 11kV RMU connections to 400kV transmission substations.
Our experience spans the projects that matter most to today's energy market. We have managed the non-contestable grid supply point connections delivering over 500MW of battery storage capacity, and managed multiple new data centre connections at NGET grid supply points.

Managing Director
Sean founded Power Management Services in 2010 after a career spent on the tools, on site and in the project office. Starting as an apprentice electrician, he progressed through supervisory and site management roles with Siemens and Carillion, delivering 132kV GIS substation builds for UK Power Networks, alongside studying electrical engineering at Teesside University. He went on to hold project management positions with EPC contractors, National Grid and UK Power Networks.
A member of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Association for Project Management (APM), Sean combines professional rigour with a grounding in how projects are actually built. That balance shapes how we advise our clients today: practical, independent and focused on what works on site.
